Chai Tea Recipe

Fewer things warm you up more than a perfectly brewed pot of chia tea. Cinnamon awakens the senses, ginger soothes the stomach, cloves are cold fighting…basically a huge cup of chai is delicious preventative medicine. Since the kids drink it – I don’t add black tea. Chai recipes are infinite, this is how I do:

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
1 vanilla pod
1 cinnamon stick
two slices of fresh ginger
8 cardamon pods
10 black pepper corn
6 whole cloves

*Add milk and sugar to your taste
